My thirteen year old daughter went to Camp Billings for the first time this past summer. At home, she is very involved in athletics and water sports, but she had never been to a sleepaway camp. She was a little shy about speaking English and did not know anyone when she arrived, but she quickly made friends with cabin mates. We noticed that this experience gave her a boost of confidence and autonomy.
